2. Tracking Service:
You may follow your parcel online when sent via DHL Express Service or Post Service. After we forwarded the parcel to DHL/Post you will receive an email containing your personal tracking number from the delivery service in charge. Please allow the delivery service a couple of hours to enter the parcel in their system.
3. Transfer of risk:
When shipping the goods, the risk of loss or damage to the goods only passes to the consumer as soon as the goods are delivered to the consumer or to a third party specified by the carrier and not owned by the carrier. However, if the consumer himself has concluded the contract of carriage without using any option proposed by us, the risk shall pass to the carrier upon delivery of the goods.
4. Our Carriers:
We organize deliveries using either DHL Express Service or Post Service. For Austrian customers we also offer a self-pick-up service.
5. Sensitive products:
Attention: Dispatch and delivery of the goods is not cooled. Please think about the temperatures in your country, before you order – especially chocolate!
5.1 Shelf life expiration date of the products on AlpenBee:
Our company guarantees for all the items a remaining shelf life expiration date (best before) of minimum of 2 months left from the day of dispatch. The format of the shelf life expiration date (best before) looks generally like this: DD.MM.YYYY
6. Import/Export and Customs Regulations:
When placing an order, the customer must observe the import and customs regulations of the respective country. The customer bears the risk for all consequences resulting from invalid goods dispatch abroad, disregard of the import and customs regulations of foreign countries (including transit regulations), wrong or incomplete information given in the customs declaration, the green customs slip or accompanying papers, as well as for non-observance of the applicable export regulations. This applies also to damage in transit by warranty losses as a result of goods not being replaced after confiscation by the customs authorities of a foreign country. It is incumbent on the customer to procure information himself necessary for proper delivery of the goods(e.g. the customer may contact the agencies abroad in the countries of destination or transit, foreign trade offices, Chambers of Industry and Commerce, etc. regarding local regulations and practices.).
Please understand that in some Non-EU countries the customs might charge fees for the import of products, which are not included in the total we charged you. The settlement of such customs fees is to pay by the importer.
6.1 Placing an order containing baby milk formula to USA:
Occasionally customs of USA asks importer/consignee to provide them FDA (Food and Drugs Administration) registration number for the baby milk formula which importer/consignee purchased. As baby milk formula products which you can purchase from AlpenBee are produced in EU with EU regulation, it does not have a US FDA registration number, therefore refusing clearance of the parcel which includes baby milk formula from EU can happen by customs of USA.
We kindly ask you to check with your local customs bureau before you place the order containing baby milk formula to USA.
If the customs returns the parcel, refunding the value of the products will be processed as long as the items in the parcel arrive in our warehouse in the same condition as it was sent out. However the shipping cost will not be refunded as the customer must observe the import and customs regulation of the respective country - as mentioned above.
7. Complaints, claims for broken or wrong delivered items:

All returned items must be well packed so that the products arrive in original condition. All items need to be returned in original packaging and the tags&labels must still be attached. Do not tape or paste anything onto the products original packaging.
The right to return a product does not apply to goods which have been used or with broken seals / missing tags&labels. Furthermore it does not apply for products which can not be returned due to hygeniec reasons.
The customer is obligated to pay for the shipping costs of the return.
8. Methods of payment:
You have the possibility to pay easily your consignment on a secured way via credit card (we offer: Visa and Mastercard). Credit Card Service is provided by BS PAYONE GmbH and SIX Payment Services (Europe) S.A.

Prepay via bank transfer only available in Austria. All necessary account information from alpenbee.at will be sent to you immediately after you placed the order. As soon as the total is transferred to our account, the parcel will be packed.
The shipping costs can only be calculated once the item is in the basket.
